<p>Tolle Landschaft, Wind und Wellen, tolle Möglichkeiten, tolles Wetter, toller Himmel, tolle Kulinarik……</p>

<p>Und es hat eine interessante Geschichte. Einst gab es einfach Friesland, doch im Laufe der Geschichte wurden die einzelnen friesischen Stämme getrennt und entwickelten sich jeder Stamm für sich weiter. Die Friesen unterscheiden sich mittlerweile in West-, Mittel- und Ostfriesen. Ostfriesland liegt im äußersten Nordwesten Niedersachsens.</p>

<p>Der Wiener Kongreß sprach einst die Ostfriesen dem Königreich Hannover zu, mit dem es 1866 an Preußen fiel. 1946 schließlich wurde es als Regierungsbezirk Aurich Teil des Landes Niedersachsen. </p>

<p>Mit einem Urlaub in Ostfriesland, an der Nordsee, verbinden wir sofort die bekannten Nordseeinseln: Baltrum, Borkum, Juist, <strong>Langeoog,</strong> Norderney, Spiekeroog, <strong>Wangerooge. </strong>Gerade Langeoog und Wangerooge ziehen wir im Moment in die engere Wahl für den Nordseeurlaub 2023, weil wir dort gerne den jeweiligen Golfplatz spielen wollen. Die Regierungshauptstadt von Ostfriesland ist Aurich.</p>

<p>Ostfriesland auf die Inseln und Urlaub am Wasser zu reduzieren reicht aber nicht. Golfen und Wandern ist genauso angesagt bei einem Urlaub an der Ostfriesischen Küste oder im Binnenland. Natürlich ist es interessant einen Tag in einem der Kutterhäfen zu verbringen, genauso interessant wir einen Tag im blühenden wunderschönen Ammerland zu verbringen oder eine Fahrradtour auf einer der Fahrradstrecken zu unternehmen. </p>

<p>Was einen Wanderurlaub in Ostfriesland betrifft, ist das natürlich nicht zu vergleichen mit einem Wanderurlaub in den Bergen wie zum Beispiel im Allgäu. </p>

<p>Die Natur genießen und in aller Seelenruhe die gute Luft, die vom Meer kommt atmen. Hier gibt es weder Schluchten noch Grate oder Gletscher, sondern es ist gerade der Reiz, im Flachland zu wandern. Es sind 5 Fernwanderwege im Angebot, die zu Etappenwanderungen einladen: wie der Ostfrieslandwanderweg oder der Ems-Jade-Weg. Auch ein Pilgerweg , der “Schola Dei", kann gegangen werden. Der 40 km lange Pilgerweg verläuft zu großen Teilen auf einem Wallfahrtsweg. Auf dem Weg gibt es ca. 16 Stationen und Kirchen zu besichtigen. Beispielsweise in Norden die Ludgerikirche, deren ältester Gebäudeteil aus dem 13. Jahrhundert stammt. </p>

<p>Norden, der Ort mit der Ludgerikirche, ist wohl fast jedem aus der Fernsehserie “Ostfriesenkiller”, bekannt, die Region Krummhörn - Greetsiel diente schon öfter als Filmkulisse von unterschiedlichen Krimis, wie zum Beispiel für den ein oder anderen Tatort oder auch für die Ostfriesenkrimis von Autor Klaus Peter Wolf.</p>

<p>Wenn dann die Wege erwandert sind und die Küste bestaunt, es im Strandkorb kühler wird und der Nordseewind dir um die Ohren weht, ist es Zeit für eine schöne heiße Tasse Tee. </p>

<p>Die Ostfriesen sind nämlich auch für ihre Liebe zum Tee mindestens genauso bekannt wie die Engländer für ihre berühmte Tea Time.</p>

<p>Jeder Teetrinker aber auch Nicht - Teetrinker hat schon einmal etwas von der berühmten Ostfriesenmischung gehört. Die Ostfriesische Teezeremonie gilt übrigens als Kulturgut und erhielt 2017 den Rang des immateriellen Kulturerbes durch die deutsche UNESCO. </p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Hier verraten wir was das Geheimnis der Ostfriesenmischung ist und wie sie richtig zubereitet wird </h3>

<p>Die Ostfriesenmischung ist eine Teemischung aus bis zu zwanzig verschiedenen Teesorten. Das Mischungsverhältnis ist ein großes und streng gehütetes Geheimnis. Die Ostfriesenmischung besteht aber auf alle Fälle aus mehreren Schwarzteesorten, vor allem aus Assam. Was dann noch dazu kommt, ist das Geheimnis. </p>

<p>Schon um 1675 wurde übrigens in Ostfriesland der erste Tee getrunken, aber nur von reichen Leuten, denn er war für die Arbeiter und armen Leute unerschwinglich. </p>

<p>Der Preis war natürlich so hoch, weil der Tee weite Wege hinter sich bringen musste, ehe er in den Ostfriesischen Teeläden gemischt werden konnte. Erst Mitte des 19. Jh. wurden die damals schnellsten Segelschiffe der Welt entwickelt und der Tee konnte schneller und somit preiswerter mit den so genannten Teeclippern transportiert werden. Ab da wurde der Tee in Ostfriesland zum Volksgetränk, was er bis heute auch ist. </p>

<p>Die Zubereitung des "lecker Koppke Tee mit Kluntje und Rohm".</p>

<p>Für einen echten Ostfriesentee kochst du 1 Liter Wasser und gibst 3 Teelöffel Teemischung in eine vorgewärmte Kanne. Die Teeblätter übergießt du mit sprudelnd kochendem Wasser, aber nur bis die Blätter bedeckt sind. </p>

<p>Abgedeckt und möglichst auf einem Stövchen lässt du nun den Tee ca. 4 Minuten ziehen. Dann gießt du das restliche Wasser dazu. </p>

<p>Nun solltest du den Tee durch ein Sieb in eine vorgewärmte Teekanne umfüllen und weiter auf einem Stövchen warm halten.</p>

<p>Der Rest, bis du den Tee genießen kannst, ist auch ein schönes Ritual. Das Teetrinken an sich übrigens auch, denn es wird in Ostfriesland wirklich gefeiert. </p>

<p>Gib zuerst ein Stück weißen Kandis in die Tasse. Wenn du nun den heißen Tee darüber gießt, wirst du ein leises Knistern hören, das dich auf den kommenden Genuss vorbereitet. Der Kandis wird sich nun langsam auflösen und je weiter du dem Ende deiner Teepause entgegenkommt, desto süßer wird das Getränk. </p>

<p>Wenn du willst, kannst du auch noch ein paar Tropfen frische Sahne dazugeben. Auch sie solltest du nicht unterrühren, sondern das schöne Muster bestaunen, wenn die Sahne sich im Getränk zu einer Wolke verteilt und sich mit dem Tee vermischt. </p>

<p>Übrigens gibt man die Sahnetropfen gegen den Uhrzeigersinn in den Tee. Man will damit im übertragenen Sinne die Zeit anhalten. </p>

<p>Nun musst du die Hefe mit der lauwarmen Milch und einer Prise Zucker zu einem kleinen Vorteig verrühren und in einer abgedeckten Schüssel an einem warmen Ort ca. 15 Minuten gehen lassen. Dann die restliche Milch und den Zucker, die Prise Salz und das Mehl und das Ei dazugeben und alles zu einem Teig verkneten. Den Teig ausrollen und auf ein Blech geben und mehrmals mit einer Gabel einstechen. </p>

<p>Für den Belag die Butter mit dem Zucker verrühren und den Zimt dazugeben. Die Mischung auf dem Grundteig verteilen, das muss nicht sehr gleichmäßig sein, ganz im Gegenteil, und den Kuchen im vorgeheizten Ofen bei 200 Grad ungefähr 20 Minuten backen.</p>
